Barry M Sunset Gel | Review

I've read a lot of good things about the Barry M Sunset Gel nail varnishes and as a lover of Barry M nail varnish, I thought it was about time I picked one up.

In the range there are 7 different colours and the one topcoat which gives the gel like finish.  I got it in the colour 'Do it Like a Nude' as I really love nude nail varnishes and thought this would be a good one as my first try!

I needed two coats of this (which is recommended) to get the colour in the bottle.  However, I do think another coat would make it look a tad better, but it still looks fine with just two coats.

The finished result really does give the look of gel nails from the salon at the cheaper cost of £4.99! I've had no chips and the nail varnish does feel really strong.

Overall, I love this nail varnish from Barry M and I definitely recommend it! I will definitely be getting a couple of the other colours.

Let me know of any nail varnish you're loving at the moment!

Maybelline EyeStudio Colour Tattoo 24hr Eye Shadow | Review

Hello again! I thought I would do just a short little review today on the Maybelline Colour Tattoo.

I've heard so many amazing things about the Maybelline EyeStudio Colour Tattoos so I thought it was about time I finally picked one up.  I only bought one as I have never used a cream eye shadow before so I thought it best to get one for now, but I regret not buying another!

I love it.  I got it in Rose Gold and it is just the prettiest colour ever.  It stays on my eyelids all day and doesn't crease or anything.  Its so good as a base for other eyeshadows, but it is also perfect to not put any other eyeshadows with it.

When I next go into Boots I am definitely going to pick up a couple more.  I really love the look of Eternal Gold, but if any of you have any shades you like let me know so I can get those as well!

Primark Haul | Summer

Hello everyone!

I popped into Primark the other day just to have a little look around and ended up buying quite a few things, oops.

The first thing I picked up was this blue dress with white flowers over it. I have worn this so much since I got it, I love it.

I also picked up this white lace kimono. I think it goes really nicely with the dress as well.

I picked up this white a blue playsuit as well which I am in love with! I love the lace detail at the top and its just really summery.

I also got this aztec (I think thats what it is haha) top which has these little bobble bits a long the bottom which hopefully you can see! I think its really cute.

I've been on the look out for just a plain black top as well so I was very happy when I found this and got it straight away. It was only £4 as well!! Even better.

Finally, I got this black and white chequered skirt.  I love it, but I'm not sure if this style of skirt really suits me? But I'm going to try and see if I can make it look ok anyway!

That's all I got from Primark! I hope you enjoyed this post and let me know of what you like or any items you've recently bought!

Billy Elliot 10th Anniversary | 12th May 2015

If you didn't already know, I love musicals.  There's just something about them that just really makes me happy! My all time favourite is Billy Elliot.  I think I have a bordering obsession with it, haha. I've seen the show 4 times now and it gets better each time.  The talent of everyone, particularly the children amazes me!

On the 12th May it was their 10th anniversary and I was lucky enough to get tickets before they sold out. The show was incredible.  It was different to that of normal as it was a sort of rally between 6 different Billy Elliot's all swapping throughout the show.

During the interval, the staff handed out to everyone a small bottle of Prosecco or a non-alcoholic version for people who didn't drink.  I think this was a lovely touch and it made the evening more special.

The end of the show featured all of the people that had played Billy Elliot over the 10 years and also all of the ballet girls.  Everyone came onto the stage at the end and it was just an amazing atmosphere.

You weren't allowed to take any pictures so I haven't got a lot to show you, but I'll show you the couple I did take.

I know this isn't the normal sort of post you'd expect, but I hope you enjoyed reading anyway. I just loved the show too much to not share it haha.
