Prairie Charms, Prairie Pizazz Enchanted Edition | Blogmas Day 8
Tuesday, 8 December 2015
Bit of a long title for today's post but I promise you it is well worth the read!
I'm pretty sure most bloggers would of heard of the company Prairie Charms by now, but just in case you haven't, they're a lovely company that you should definitely check out (website here) As well as the individual things they sell, they also offer a monthly subscription box and I have purchased two of these. Unfortunately I never got round to writing the blogpost on the first one I received but I loved it loads so when I had the opportunity to get this one I knew I wanted it right away! This box was the Enchanted Edition and it featured lots of lovely bits which I love!
Included was:
The Sweet Hostess Sugar Swizzle Sticks - I'm yet to try this yet but I can't wait! They smell so good.
Seraphina Velvet Knot Wrap - This is so soft and I love to use this when I need to push all my hair back off my face when I cleanse or do a mask! Its the prettiest pink as well.
Luna Leatherette Hair Bow - In the last box, I got a lovely sparkly bow and loved it so I was very happy to see another bow in this box. Its very cute!
Hazel Custom Knot Tie Pack - I looove the patterns on these!
Hermonie Wand Necklace - This necklace is SO pretty and sparkly. I love wearing it.
Anya Butterfly Head Band Duo - You can't go wrong with a glittery bow on a hairband can you? Its so pretty
Merida Candy Skull Wax Melts - These smell lovely. I'm yet to use them though as I don't own a wax burner, but as soon as I get one, these will be the first things I burn!!
Rosalie Quote Card - I love a good quote and this is a very motivational one. Good to read when you're not feeling very motivated!
Solace Midi Ring - This is so nice with the drop charm! Different to anything I own.
Pandora Evil Eye Bracelet - I love the purple on this and it goes really nicely with the gold chain. Love it!
As you can see you get a lot of amazing things included in the boxes and for the money, I think it is well worth every penny! The company are so lovely as well.
I really recommend you try and get one of these boxes as they are well worth the money! The next one available is the Spring Edition Prairie Pizzazz coming out in the new year. Now this would normally cost you £20, but the lovely people at Prairie are offering you to get this box for just £15. If you are interested in this box and want to get it for £15 all you have to do is tweet Prarie telling them you'd like to sign up and mention my twitter (@bird_butterfly) and the hashtag #pizzazzsignmeup! Like this:
"@prairie_charms I would like to sign up for the Prairie Pizzazz via @bird_butterfly1 #pizzazzsignmeup"
Hope you enjoyed this post!

Beauty Haul | Benefit, L'oreal and more!
Sunday, 4 October 2015
Hey everyone, so recently I've picked up quite a few items of makeup (my purse is not very happy with me right now haha)
I'm forever hearing people talk about this so I thought it was about time I finally went a got it.
Another item I hear people talk about all the time. As someone that is awful at doing eyeliner, I'm very excited to try this as it is meant to help (here's hoping haha)
I bought this when it first came out and I fell in love with it! I then ran out and instead of rushing out to get a new one, I went and got the Maybelline Lash Sensational, buuuut, Ive gone back to my roller lash and its just the best mascara I've used
I went on holiday over the summer and I got this on the plane. This is my new all time favourite eye shadow palette. I use it every single day, the second colour in is my favourite for base eyeshadow and the 8th one in is perfect in the crease! (There is a a mirror but I've cropped it out as you can see me haha)

L'oreal Glam Bronze tera bronzer
I'm not normally one for bronzers as they always just make me look like I've thrown mud all over my face which is not a good look haha. However, this just looked really nice and when I swatched it on my hand it looked good.
I see this on TV all the time so on the plane I saw it in the duty free book and thought I may as well get it. I've only used this once, but I really liked it.
And that's all I bought! Some of these things were from duty free so I did save a tiny bit of money luckily haha.
Thank you so much for reading and let me know if you want a review of any of these products!

Oxford Street Lush Haul
Monday, 28 September 2015
Hello!
As I was in London a few weeks ago I thought it was only right that I went into the Oxford Street Lush to see what everyone was talking about! I picked up a few things. Not as many as I would have liked as it was SO busy you could barely move and that does not work well with my anxiety. Anyway here is what I picked up (I'm sorry the pictures are so bad, I didn't think about lighting and yes, sorry but I hope you don't mind too much!)
'Frozen' Bath Bomb, this smells amazing. The colour it leaves your bath is so pretty and there's glitter floating around, what more could you want?!
Guardian Of The Forest (I can't find it on the website) This one was being demonstrated in the shop and I loved the deep green colour it made the bath water look and the design of the bath bomb was so good. The picture definitely doesn't show it.
The Experimenter, I'm going to be honest here... I picked this one up purely because of the design of it and imaging how it would turn my bath (Its amazing in the bath, my bath was literally like a rainbow... But when it finished my bath was grey so not the nicest end result) the down side to this for me, was the smell. I really didn't like it. But I know lots of people do, it just wasn't for me!
Karma, this was the only bubble bar I managed to pick. It looks so good, I love gold glitter so the top of this is just perfect for me. The smell is so refreshing and lovely. I haven't used this one yet, but I can't wait to see the purple coloured water! Haha. I think they have changed this formula since I purchased it so it might be different now, I'm not sure.
Sun (I can't find it on the website) I've never bought an oil from Lush before so I'm not really sure what they do. They explained to me in the shop that it just makes you feel really soft and relaxed. I loved the look and smell of this one so I thought I'd get it!
So there we have everything I picked up from the Lush in Oxford Street. I was going to try and describe the smells buuut I'm terrible at explaining scents haha. Sorry again for the awful pictures.
Let me know any products from Lush you love!

Primark Haul | Summer
Tuesday, 9 June 2015
Hello everyone!
I popped into Primark the other day just to have a little look around and ended up buying quite a few things, oops.
The first thing I picked up was this blue dress with white flowers over it. I have worn this so much since I got it, I love it.
I also picked up this white lace kimono. I think it goes really nicely with the dress as well.

I've been on the look out for just a plain black top as well so I was very happy when I found this and got it straight away. It was only £4 as well!! Even better.

Finally, I got this black and white chequered skirt. I love it, but I'm not sure if this style of skirt really suits me? But I'm going to try and see if I can make it look ok anyway!
That's all I got from Primark! I hope you enjoyed this post and let me know of what you like or any items you've recently bought!

Small Beauty Haul
Saturday, 11 April 2015
I decided to do a small haul for you all today as I've just bought some things from Avon and one thing from Benefit.
I'll start off with Benefit. So you may, or may not, know that I've been wanting Roller Lash more or less since it was released. I've finally got it! It does not disappoint. I have never been so in love with a mascara haha.
Now onto the Avon Products...
I think spring time is the perfect time for pastel colours and so I thought it was only right I bought a new pastel coloured nail varnish. I think that Avon have really good quality nail varnish for a good price.
I saw this in the Avon book matched up with the Pastel Pink nail varnish and it looked so pretty so I went ahead and bought it! Its something a bit different to just the typical glitter nail varnish I own.
I know this is bad, but I've never owned an eyeshadow primer. I just never really think about them to be honest, but I saw this in the Avon book and it seemed a reasonable price for my first eyeshadow primer!
The final thing I decided to buy were these sunglasses. I desperately need more sunglass and for the price of £5 how could I not buy these?!

Concealer Brush
I'm always on the look for new makeup brushes, Real Techniques are my favourite, but they're not always within my budget unfortunately! So when I saw that Avon had offers on their brushes I went for the concealer one. I've never used a brush from Avon before so we'll have to see what its like.
Avon Kimmy Sunglasses
The final thing I decided to buy were these sunglasses. I desperately need more sunglass and for the price of £5 how could I not buy these?!
Let me know if you want a review of any of these products, I do enjoy writing reviews!

MUA Haul
Wednesday, 11 March 2015
Hi again! I recently purchased a few things from MUA so I thought I would do a post on them!
MUA makeup is known for being a cheap brand, you can get a lipstick for £1! But the price does not reflect the quality of the makeup at all. I really love all of the things I purchased so I thought that it was only right that I wrote a post for you all to see.
Hall Of Fame- Eyeshadow Palette (£4)
An eyeshadow palette for £4?! How could I not buy this haha. I've heard lots about this palette so I knew I wanted it and it would be good. I wasn't disappointed. I love it! I haven't actually tried all the colours yet (e.g. the blue at the end) but the rest are lovely. I prefer nude shade shadows and so the pale pinks and golds/reds are perfect for me. The actual eye shadows themselves are really pigmented and they stay all day, what more could you want?!
Eyeshadow- Misty Rose

I ordered these products during a valentines offer that was going on so I got this eyeshadow for free. As I've said, I love pale eye shadows so this one is perfect. I'm in love, haha. It has a very gentle shimmer and comes out as a lovely pale pink. I like using it as a base colour and then using a darker shade from the palette in my crease.
Lipstick- Tulip

This lipstick also came free with the rest of my purchases. Now I don't really wear lipstick, I mainly stick to lipgloss. However, when this arrived I thought I may as well try it! Its a really nice creamy, quite pigmented lipstick in a pink shade. I have to admit, I don't think I will be wearing this until it is really properly summer or I'm on holiday... When I tried it, it was quite bright and I don't think I really pulled it off, haha. But it is a really nice creamy lipstick.
Lipstick - Bare, £1

As I've said, I don't really wear lipsticks, but I thought if I am going to buy one, it may as well be a cheap one so that if I never wear it, I don't really waste my money. I went for a nude shade, but as I'm pale I don't think this was the best idea I've had. It does wash me out a bit when I wear it, but with a lipgloss on top, I quite like. Like the other lipstick, it is really creamy and fairly pigmented. So, yes I do like this lipstick.
Lipgloss- Smooch

This is the lipgloss I like to put over the Bare Lipstick, or I usually wear the lipgloss by its self. The swatch above definitely does not show clearly how much sparkle you get with this lipgloss. It is a really nice everyday lipgloss with a nice shine to it. I was worried if it would be sticky (there is nothing worse than a sticky lipgloss) but it wasn't, its lovely and goes on really nicely. Taste nice too... Haha.
So that's all the products I bought! I hope you enjoyed this Haul blogpost. Let me know any products you like from MUA or any other good makeup brands you know of in the comments! :)

Fashion and Beauty Haul
Tuesday, 27 January 2015
Hello again, back to more fashion/beauty related topic today!
I always like reading beauty or fashion hauls so I thought it would be fun to do one. Over the past couple of months I have bought a few too many fashion and beauty items, and basically spent all the Christmas and birthday money I had, so I thought I will put them all in one post and show you all.
Fashion
The first thing was these shoes from Topshop. I got them in the sale for £15!! (If you know Topshop, that is actually very cheap for them haha) I really like these shoes, and they are so comfy!

The next things were more shoes from H&M. In higndsight, these may not be worth the £29 I paid for them as I don't wear heels often enough really. But they just looked so nice on the website I had to get them!

Still from H&M I got this skater skirt. I really love this colour and I think for £12.99 this is really nice. I like the subtle pattern on it and it is such a soft material!

Finally, I picked up a mascara. I have quite a few mascaras, but I thought I would try one from Rimmel this time. So I bought this one, which has Argon Oil in. I really like it, it separates my eyelashes well and gives me lots of volume. The only problem I have with it, is that it doesn't seem to stay on my eyes too well! By the end of the day, sometimes, half of it is down my face which is not what I want! Haha.

(Sorry for the bad lighting in this picture, it's a plum colour and I also have it in black)
The final fashion item I purchased was this blouse from Primark for £8. It is a Duck Egg blue, which looks really nice, but I'm not sure if it's going to suit me but I'm going to try it anyway!
Onto Beauty!
The first thing I purchased was The Real Techniques- Nic's Picks. This set includes a Duo-fiber face brush, Cheek Brush (exclusive to the set), Angled Shadow Brush (exclusive to the set), Base Shadow Brush and an Eyeliner Brush (exclusive to the set). I am well and truly in love with this set and, in my opinion, it is definitely worth the money!

(Once again, sorry for the quality of the pictures!)
I'm not really one for lipsticks, but when I went into Boots the other day I thought it was time to invest in one! So i picked up this Rimmel one in the: 480 Classic Wine. To me, this lipstick seems really nice consistency and it lasts all day!

So that's all for my post today! As I've said throughout, sorry for the quality of the pictures, my iPhone isn't great at pictures with all the cracks around the camera, oops haha. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed reading this, and let me know any items you want to buy and if you like this sort of post!
