Beauty Wishlist

First ever Wishlist for you all today!

As I am very poor, most of these items on here I won't be able to afford for quite a while! But I am desperate for them, there's things I've never tried and things I have tried and loved (Roller Lash and Porefessional)

I've read so many good reviews on all of the products above so I'm desperate to get my hands on them and if or when I do, I will be a very happy girl!

Let me know what beauty products you want at the moment or if you liked this post and would like to see more wish lists, trust me there's lots I could make haha.

MUA Haul

Hi again! I recently purchased a few things from MUA so I thought I would do a post on them!

MUA makeup is known for being a cheap brand, you can get a lipstick for £1! But the price does not reflect the quality of the makeup at all. I really love all of the things I purchased so I thought that it was only right that I wrote a post for you all to see.

Hall Of Fame- Eyeshadow Palette (£4)

An eyeshadow palette for £4?! How could I not buy this haha. I've heard lots about this palette so I knew I wanted it and it would be good. I wasn't disappointed.  I love it! I haven't actually tried all the colours yet (e.g. the blue at the end) but the rest are lovely.  I prefer nude shade shadows and so the pale pinks and golds/reds are perfect for me.  The actual eye shadows themselves are really pigmented and they stay all day, what more could you want?!

Eyeshadow- Misty Rose

I ordered these products during a valentines offer that was going on so I got this eyeshadow for free.  As I've said, I love pale eye shadows so this one is perfect. I'm in love, haha.  It has a very gentle shimmer and comes out as a lovely pale pink.  I like using it as a base colour and then using a darker shade from the palette in my crease.

Lipstick- Tulip

This lipstick also came free with the rest of my purchases. Now I don't really wear lipstick, I mainly stick to lipgloss.  However, when this arrived I thought I may as well try it! Its a really nice creamy, quite pigmented lipstick in a pink shade.  I have to admit, I don't think I will be wearing this until it is really properly summer or I'm on holiday... When I tried it, it was quite bright and I don't think I really pulled it off, haha. But it is a really nice creamy lipstick.

Lipstick - Bare, £1

As I've said, I don't really wear lipsticks, but I thought if I am going to buy one, it may as well be a cheap one so that if I never wear it, I don't really waste my money.  I went for a nude shade, but as I'm pale I don't think this was the best idea I've had.  It does wash me out a bit when I wear it, but with a lipgloss on top, I quite like.  Like the other lipstick, it is really creamy and fairly pigmented.  So, yes I do like this lipstick.

Lipgloss- Smooch

This is the lipgloss I like to put over the Bare Lipstick, or I usually wear the lipgloss by its self.  The swatch above definitely does not show clearly how much sparkle you get with this lipgloss.  It is a really nice everyday lipgloss with a nice shine to it.  I was worried if it would be sticky (there is nothing worse than a sticky lipgloss) but it wasn't, its lovely and goes on really nicely. Taste nice too... Haha.

So that's all the products I bought! I hope you enjoyed this Haul blogpost.  Let me know any products you like from MUA or any other good makeup brands you know of in the comments! :)

'Love, Tanya' Book Review

Hello everyone, quick short post for you today to make up for my lack of posts last week!

As I am I huge fan of Tanya Burr and her YouTube videos and blog, I thought it was only right I purchased her first ever book 'Love, Tanya'.  The main reason was because it was by Tanya but also because I struggle to read books, mainly novels, and when I knew it was going to have lots of different subjects I thought it was the perfect book for me.  I was right!

It took me only 3 weeks to get through (which is amazingly quick for me) and I loved it.  I really liked how it went through different stages during Tanya's life and featured parts about her childhood, anxiety, meeting Jim Chapman and baking, as well as others.

The baking chapter was my particular favourite as I love banking and Tanya's recipes are lovely (Please make the cookies!) The chapter where she wrote about meeting Jim was lovely.  They are so perfect together and the story of how they met is so cute!

All in all, I think the book is really well written and if you like Lifestyle books, I would definitely recommend this one!

Liz Earle | Review

Hi everyone, sorry its been a while since I last posted! I've been very busy at the moment, but I should now be back onto writing regularly (hopefully once a week)

Anyway, todays post will be my first ever review and it is on a couple of amazing products from Liz Earle.

I have always had problematic skin and I am prone to breakouts. I always find myself buying numerous different products, but after hearing of Liz Earle for a while I thought it was finally time to invest in some of their products! I purchased the Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, which I bought as a valentines special offer meaning I received the Eyebright Soothing Lotion.  The last product I got was the Deep Cleansing Mask. I also received the 30ml sample size of the Cleanse & Polish Hot cloth Cleanser.

I have read so many amazing reviews of this product for a long time, so I decided if I was going to buy anything from Liz Earle, it was going to be this.

I have been using this for a week now (I know thats not too long, but still!) and it does not disappoint, I am well and truly in love.  The packaging is really nice and is a pump and I always like pumps because there is nothing worse than trying to squeeze product from a tube when there is hardly anything left. The smell of the Cleanser is lovely, it just smells really natural and 'clean'.  Once I have wiped the cleanser off with the Muslin cloth, my skin feels so soft and clean and I actually look forward to cleansing my face and don't see it as a chore anymore. I am also seeing a big improvement in my skin, but that might be down to the mask as well which I've spoke about below!

I've never really used any eye creams/lotions before and I normally don't go looking out for them, but as I said I received this an offer with the Cleanser.  So obviously I was going to try it out! I've been using this as described, putting some on a cotton pad and wiping it over my eyes gently or place it on my eyes for about 5 minutes.  I am definitely seeing the difference, my eyes look so much more awake! As this is my first ever eye lotion/cream product I'm not sure how it compares to others, but I love it and will be purchasing again!

Like the eye soothing lotion, I've never used any sort of mask before! But after looking into products from Liz Earle, particularly for problematic skin, I found this.  I love it.  I really like the smell of, but I know some people don't, but I don't think that is particularly important.  The one thing that normally worries me with a face mask is that it will dry up my face too much and feel horrible when on my face, so I was a tad nervous. I  had absolutely no need to be! It feels really nice on my face and it comes off really easily. My face doesn't feel dry at all, its really nice and soft.  The main thing I bought it for was in the hope it would help my skin, AND IT DOES (sorry got a bit excited) My face is looking so much better since using this.  I have had no breakouts and the spots I do have are clearing up well. I can't say if this is down to just the mask as I use it with the Hot Cloth Cleanser, but what ever I am doing, its working!

So there we have it, my first review! I hope you enjoyed this post and I definitely do recommend you make a purchase from Liz Earle. Also, sorry the pictures aren't great quality!

Please let me know in the comments what skincare products you enjoy or if you own anything from Liz Earle!
